I’m Gene Gravatt, Owner / President of Mr Plumber Phoenix Home Service Plumbing – offering emergency plumber Phoenix AZ. We’re a 3rd generation plumbing company that has been earning the trust of our loyal customers since 1957 and valley residents since 1988.

I am a State Certified Master Plumber in the business since 1957. I started this business in 1957 in Kansas City with $300 of borrowed money and God as my partner. I had a 1948 Chrysler my uncle gave me and during the week, I would take the back seat out of the car to carry my tools and supplies and on Sunday I would put the seat back in the car to take the family to church.

My business developed into one of the largest plumbing service companies in Kansas City servicing both residential and commercial plumbing needs. In 1985 my company was celebrated as Kansas City, KS business of the year and I have worked diligently to maintain that same principle and work ethic that has garnered awards and recognition every year from local and national companies.

In 1988 I moved to Scottsdale, AZ and expanded my business to Phoenix and surrounding areas. Over the years, my sons joined me in the business, learned the trade and have since opened their own businesses in Kansas, Florida and Phoenix.

I attribute the business success to having a great group of employees through the years that share my values. In addition to having a very fulfilling and successful plumbing career, I have been fortunate to have married the love of my life, Sherry, a very patient and deserving wife and business partner. Together, we have two wonderful sons, Jay and Rodney, and Robin, the best daughter anyone could ever ask for. The three of them have filled our homes with grandchildren.

Today, I am still actively involved in my business and enjoy playing golf on occasion. My values have never changed and I still insist that the customer service provided is every bit as honorable as it has been since 1957.
